I would have told Grandma off. *I* don't potty train, but I will ASSIST IF child is ready. Oh heck no!

Then I would tell the parents that you don't appreciate Grandma getting in your face. It isn't the provider's job to potty train their child for them, and IF the parent has an issue THEY will come to you but I would NOT be dealing with grandmom again.

I have a love/hate with involved grandparents. I have had two grandparents banned from my home and a couple that I wish had custody.

I've read a few other vents about "attack granny's" lately... !
Makes you wonder if that (issues like this) is why we seem to be seeing more estrangements with this group of grandparents. The whole "Silent Epidemic" agenda?
      - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.

And grand mom dropped and picked up today and was SAWEEEEET AS PIE.
I think she mentioned it to parents and they set her straight. Lol.

Hahaha!! Good. I would have been spitting nails if someone had talked to me like that.
Yep, dcprovider home with kids anyways, nothing else in the world to do between eating chocolate and watching soaps all day, dck should've been trained long before now according to grandma(because as we all know kids were always trained by 12 months of age)so grandma assumes dck would magically be potty trained.
Maybe they can do it this weekend. How old is dcg and why on earth did grandma expect this week was going to be THE week this all happens at dc?

I think so. Grandma, in this case, seems pissed that dck is not trained yet. She should address this with her child (dcm) if it bugs her that much. It almost seems like grandparents know that daycare providers are the ones raising these kids, so they take it up with you versus schooling their own kid. Very misdirected!

Three. And because FREE PRESCHOOL/daycare starts next Thursday if she's trained. They won't accept them in diapers.
And I have new kids starting so no room here.

Aha....well they best get on it then!! What were they doing for the past year?
Sounds like gma panicked but mom came through with a solution so all is good.

Grandma is probably panicking because she's going to be the one providing care if little one isn't trained.
