Baby Tricked Me!

I started watching a little girl at 4 months old. She is now 9 months old and she has completely changed.
Whining all day long! Literally ALL. DAY. LONG.
She used to lay down so easily for nap and now she just cries and cries.
She's mobile now and if I put her on the floor to explore she's content for a little while as long as she has complete freedom, no barriers. If she's put in a pack-n-play or gated area she whines nonstop!
At times I have to put her in something just for safety reasons and again it's a nonstop whine.

I'm LOSING my MIND! I don't know what to do! She comes from a wonderful family, and I just don't know how much longer I can take it. Any advice?

Since the behavior is such a change for her are her parents noticing it at home too?

I'd ask the parents to rule out any physical issues ...It could be an ear infection.

Hang in there and dont be afraid to send her home if it gets too hard to manage. :hug:
