We're painting 8x10 canvas'. When dried, I will write Happy Father's Day or something on top with a paint pen. Keeping it simple!

Last year we painted paperweight size rocks with acrylic paint and wrote either "Dad Rocks!" or "You Rock!" on them.
Funny/embarassing story- They turned out great, but I didn't know that the year before, some of those same dck's made a very similar project in the younger toddler room. Oops.- Flag

Expanding on the rock idea, would it be possible to have dcks paint a rock, then add the words You are my rock, and then modpodge a picture of the dck on it? Not even sure if that's a good idea or not.But I cannot buy anything to do Father's Day gifts at the moment and I have all those things available. Opinions please and thank you?

I've bought several of the hit book in the daycare right now....Dragons Love Tacos, for the kids to bring home and read with dad. Then we will make dragon head foot prints and make up a poem to go, and paste it to the inside of the cover- Flag
