*sigh* I really hate it when this happens, I am having another infant spot open up in November/December....the family that just joined with me is getting ready to PCS already! That's just how it goes with the military. So I began to advertise for the spot yesterday...a lady emailed me wanting all kinds of information so I directed her to my website and also sent her a parent info packet....BOTH of these have my rates on them. So what does she email me back right away about?
"What are you rates for infants? Do you work with military families?"
I answered back that yes, of course I work with the military as I'm a veteran and a spouse and my rates are listed in both the packet I sent and the website (put in nicer words than I typed here, LOL). And of course what she REALLY meant by "work with military families" was:
"You don't give a service member discount? What about extended hours and weekends? Can I do drop in whenever I need to?"
I told her we could discuss the hours needed since I do offer weekend/extended care under certain circumstances (my dual military family for example) but that my rates are firm though I do accept alternative payment.
Of course, she hasn't emailed me back....but we will see.
