Quick introductory:
I'm 27 years old, and am an inside salesman for an oilfield company since i was 18yo. Been with the same company out of high school and seen the oilfields ups and downs and it's too often. My brother is also in the oilfield with an engineering degree and we both are extremely interested in starting our own daycare together trying to get out of the oilfield. We have been reading up on rules and regulations and it honestly doesn't seem too hard. We just need to get a business plan together, quotes on buildings, land, etc to get a budget made. Does anyone have any pointers, building models, basic business plan, anything they can help us with on getting this thing started in the right direction? My brothers wife has a bach degree in early childhood education and would be our director since she meets the qualifications for it (also worked at a daycare for a few years). We would like to get this started by school letting out (may) or new year starting (aug) of next year.
Thanks in advanced on the responses and im glad i found this community.
