I have a quick question, I recently decided to leave the food program since I just take care of two children and have decided not to re-do my license because of this (you have to be licensed where I'm at to be on the food program). Anyway, I dis-enrolled one of the children the other day without letting the mom know (she didn't seem to care anyway) and she didn't show up yesterday or today without notice or a call or anything. Does the food program notify parents if their child was dis-enrolled? If so I'm thinking I might need to call my parents and let them know.
Does Food Program Notify Parents?

I'm not certain but I've never had a parent say they were notified. Especially in a day. They've got more important things to do than tattle
To parents. U less they kicked you off program, I don't see why they would bother.- Flag

Hmmm, it just seemed so coincidental! I had DCK on Tuesday, DCM said they would be back on Thursday (she is part-time 2x a week). I dis-enrolled everyone on Wednesday....DCK didn't show up on Thurs or today. Maybe I'll just text her to make sure everything is alright :/- Flag

I quit the food program for a few months until I cam join a new company, or whatever they are called that you join. My parents were none the wiser. I told the ones who might care, but they didn't. I serve the same food anyway ...- Flag
