Thanks guys! I am hopeful! No kids today so house is picked up, I am relaxing a bit right now, will change clothes soon. First one will be here between 2 and 3 after she gets done with school enrollment. Second one here at 5. Right now just trying to stay calm

First interview is over. And I have an enrollment fee!!!! Two kiddos. In kindy, mom works nights as a nurse right now. They will be sleeping at my house and getting up for school and ride the bus from here. In a few weeks she is changing to 12 hour days and fewer days a week and I will have them before and after school.Comment

It is funny really. Last week during the tax free weekend on school supplies and clothing, I was at the store. I picked up a few school supplies and put them in the cart do donate to my church. We have have a carnival this weekend for kids pre-K to High school. They are having a movie, snack and carnival games with the prizes being school supplies. Our economy is still lagging and our church runs a food pantry, so this just kind of fits in. Anyway, I passed the backpacks and thought "wow I used to have issues affording these I should get at least one". My next thought was "I can't really afford that though". Then I had a thought or a voice or whatever you want to call it reminding me of the Bible verses about giving and God will make sure you are taken care of. I bought a backpack. Guess I was taken care of!
