    Laminating

    Happy Monday!

I've been wanting to laminate several items for my daycare but am having trouble finding an affordable way to do so. Have any of you used the laminating pouches or have suggestions for where to go?

    Thanks!

I bought a laminator at walmart....non-expensive one and I use the pouches as well. Sometimes you can find those pouches on Amazon for a good price. Otherwise I use the ones from walmart.

Since I'm such a cheapskate , I laminated some playdough mats with clear contact paper. I found rolls of it at Dollar tree. It's held up pretty well. The only complaint is that it's not crystal clear, but for what I needed it works.

I bought a laminator at Harbor Freight for less than $20. I also bought laminate pages/pouches in a pack of 25 for $3.99

You can get a better deal if you use the coupons in the Sunday paper or their sale flyers.

        I laminate everything

          Thank you!

I LOVE harbor freight, I had no idea they even sold those. I want to start labeling things around the playroom in English and Spanish but worry about the little ones destroying the labels. Hopefully laminated signs will hold up better.

If you're just looking to do a few things time check with your local resource & referral agency. Ours has one providers can use for pretty reasonable. If you think you will be doing lots of stuff the Harbor Frieght laminator works well.

I have the WM one. I didn't know Harbor Freight sold them.

Thanks for the hot tip!! Get it, hot...! Right after I read this I made my hubby take me. Like he needs an excuse to go.

I've been saving lots of stuff to take to Office Depot. Can't wait to start laminating everything myself!!

I got mine from Amazon, purple cow, it does cold and hot sheets. It was on sale for 1/2 price and came with sheets. I bought a big box of sheets for cheap.

                    Right?! ::

My DH loves that store and with all the time he spends there, I've wandered many of their aisles and found some really interesting stuff! Things I never knew they even sold!

I told my husband I wanted one and he surprised me by ordering this one from Amazon before I mentioned the Harbor Freight one.

I'll let you all know how it works after I try it, it should arrive today.
But it wasn't expensive and got pretty good reviews.
