    Doing A Happy Dance Today!

    happyfacehappyfacehappyfacehappyface

I had a disgruntled parent (I termed) report me to licensing. Licensing came on Friday (I knew it was coming and actually called them before the parent could).

I got my official letter today: unsubstantiated...

Which, in our state, means it was BS to begin with, which of course, I knew.

I sooooo want to post o FB about it, hoping it will get back to the parent, but I will refrain. I will be a professional, and every time I see that woman, I will smile so sweetly.

      Congrats!!

I'm expecting a Non-Compliance letter and/or visit sometime this week or next. I emailed my licensor about an incident in case the parent reported it, and I think I'll get written up for lack of supervision. I probably should've waited to see if it'd blow over, but I felt that emailing her was the right thing to do...

Yes, you will most likely get a non-compliance. Self-reporting has no value anymore. My sister recently learned that the hard way; after 20 years without a single non-compliance! Same reason, which totally validates my argument in the other thread. If "something" happens, you'll always get a non-compliance, even if you were literally watching them do it and stopped it.

yeah...if I hadn't "unfriended" the parent in question, that might be tempting.
