    Help. Change hours again?

Hi just need quick advice if i can get it. I started my home daycare about 6 months ago with my operational policies of course, then about 2 months ago changes my hours to closing a little earlier and did another operational policies. Now getting a new little girl and having another parent sign my operational policies, but thinking, 98% of the time my parents don't need me will 7:15 unless its a "grandma drops off" morning or something and then i may get someone at 6:30 but i usually just sit and read from 6:30-7:15 and was thinking of changing it again to open at 7:00 but a little hesitant, being that it would be another Op Policies for them to sign, hassle.., and they may think I'm crazy cutting 30 mins here this month and 30 mins here that month. Wanted to make a new Op Policies anyways because new parent, and wanted to add in some Holidays and awesome policies I've read from studying this awesome site so changing hours again too much?

That is tough. I guess if I was going to do it, I would attach a note saying that due to the fact you normally don't have children during the current hours, you are changing them to reflect the needs you see in your families?

Do you have contracted times or just your operating times? If you do contracted times, then their contracts state their times and your operating times can just be a general letter saying these are your operating times and they don't have to sign it.

You could just tell them that you do paperwork review every 6 months.

I have "hours of care" needed written down for each family in admission information but never really thought about implementing that as a rule mainly because I didn't think they'd stray too far from their own "hours of care" estimations. I just though I'd change them because I'm RARELY needed before 6:30 though those .... "hours of care" documents say otherwise, i haven't been getting anyone till 7:15a so i wake up and sit, and try to stay awake really, till someone comes.
