For People Who Started Off SMALL...What Was Your Start Up Cost?

I'm currently coming up with a business plan and I'm stuck ..I plan on caring for no more than 50 kids. I need to get some ideas of what I'm working with. Any advice would be great.

Wow, no help there since I am a family provider. To me 50 isn't small, it is pretty large . It will be far different than those of us in a family home, because most of us don't have separate buildings and staff and such.

I own a center licensed for 66. There are alot of variables involved. Like

      *Owning or renting the building
*Getting the building ready for inspection
*Equipment--buying new or scrounging for used.

Id be glad to talk to you if your serious about doing this.

Yes, I would love that! I'm very serious and advice from someone who owns their own business is what I have been searching for, for 2 weeks. I emailed even emailed the SBA for some of my inquiries but no response yet.
