    End of day dance ideas

We like to dance while waiting for pick ups. It's usually 15-20 minutes and everyone already has their coats and hats on.

Lately we've been dancing to shake it off, and just running around dancing like crazy, but I'm getting a bit tired of that !

Does anyone have any dance ideas? I have a 19 month old, 2 1/2 year old and a 4 year old at that time... So I need something simple enough for the little one but still something to entertain the older one!

    Ideas?!

Look for new activity songs like Macarena Months of the Year https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SjJ15vWOq7s

Dance with ribbons or jingle bells on elastic.

I do just dance kids addition at the end of the day. before I had the Xbox I bought some dancing videos and we would use them. If they don't want to dance that day then we do relay races.

Animal dance. Call out an animal and they must race, dance, or just act like the animal. This can go on forever.

If you have access to YouTube at the end of the day, there are tons of awesome movement songs where the kids have to listen to the directions in the song. It keeps my kids much more controlled. We like anything by Patty Shukla or Laurie Berkner Band, but if you just search "Kids movement songs" a bunch of stuff comes up.

Greg & Steve- Bear went over the mountain, chicken dance, the freeze, animal action, bear hunt for starters. You could fill a dozen cds off of iTunes of their stuff

We do youtube videos too - people record the TV while doing the Wii game Just Dance, so they have moves to all kinds of songs. The kids love to do the moves with them, seems good for 18 months +.
