    How to word this???

Paperwork was requested several times (updated contract, shot records, physical etc.). Stated in Newsletter that if paperwork was not received completed and signed by both parents by xxxx date that care would be refused. Well the deadline has come and still no paperwork. Do I just state at pick up that kiddo cant return without paperwork or do I send a note explaining why? I don't want to keep repeating myself to the families but want to enforce my policies and be professional about it. Thanks

Yep, if you text, send them a quick text "Remember to bring paperwork. Care cannot be provided without it" and if they show up without the paperwork, turn them away at the door. They either go home and get it(with the kid) or take kiddo home and try again tomorrow.

If only one parent enrolled and pays and picks up then that is the only signature I require when updating paperwork. Any family that has both parents paying and picking up both signatures are required, even if they stay with only one parent. My reason is because I need both parents to be aware of all policies and fees if they pick up or pay late and when policies change.
