Appropriate as a book for a 6 yo?

Well, he'll be 7 by Christmas. I remember my ds loving loving loving Calvin and Hobbes as a kid and I can picture this kid cracking up all through it too. Do you think it's okay? He's old enough to 'get' the humor from it.

Probably not for a 6 year old. I've had to explain a lot of interesting words to my 11 yr old. I can't think of what they were at the moment though.

I would think so, plus it's a "classic" now....

At least I don't recall there being anything objectionable about the books, I know I had them all at one time (ok, I was an adult, but still).

I don't they're any worse than some comic books or graphic novels.
