Rave for Oriental Trading Company

I ordered the Easy Clean Flat Trays (it is a package of 6) for the kids to use for their own little table spots. We are pretty gentle with our items and they were ordered a month ago but two of them had the corners chip off.

I just called them and was given 3 options. $20 gift certificate to Oriental Trading, credit back to my account for $22 (price of them), or send me an entirely new set free of charge. I choose option 3 as I REALLY need the trays and want them to work out. They'll arrive in 1 week. happyface

I have had really good luck with Discount School Supply (1 out of 2 times) and Oriental Trading Company (1 time) helping me when a product randomly broke that I bought through them. happyface

Oriental Trading does have a fantastic customer service dept.

My problem with them is that something is messed up in every order. I ordered string backpacks and 3 weren't sewn correctly. Yes, I could have fixed them, but that wasn't the point. I ordered some games and some of the pieces were broken. They immediately made good on the orders, but it was the hassle of calling and returning the various items.

Wow! That is awesome of them!

I love a company with good customer service.

For me that aspect alone is sometimes the deciding factor on whether or not I will be a repeat customer or not.

When I did Vacation Bible School, I ordered a ton of things from there. Great service!

Oriental Trading does have a fantastic customer service dept.

Everything in my order was good to go. But, within a month two of the trays corners chipped off. That was my only issue.

I bought some of these:



NONE of them were flat. They all bowed out at the bottom so they rocked when pressure was placed pretty much anywhere making them useless for crafts. I called them and they let me keep the trays and sent me replacements. All of the replacement ones were the same. I ended up keeping them anyway and just glued little gum-drop "feet" on the corners of them so that they didn't wiggle enough.

Their customer service is great! They're product ... well, can't really complain can I when "you get what you pay for" ::
