    How Much?

I just had a potential parent stop by wanting early morning care for when school starts. I currently open at 7 and the mom has to be at work at 6, so she would need care around 5:40 until the child's bus come around 7 Mon-Fri.

Would any of you consider it, and if so what would you charge?

NOPE. Especially not for a SA child.

There is no money to be made there.

If the SA kid had a full time sibling, I *might* consider it but not jut for a SA kid.

If I did for some odd reason agree to ANY care outside my normal hours, I would charge atleast double my regular rates so that I would feel it was worthwhile to even do it.

I totally understand the burn out part, thanks.

I would definitely make it worth getting up early.

I would consider it, for sure, for enough money. Double daily rate for 1.5 early morning hours might be doable.

I'd consider it, but I think I'd have to have at least $100 a week to make it worth it.

Not me. I am not a morning person. I know that getting up that early would be hard and I would begin to resent it very quickly.

If I was desperate for children I would charge at least 25.00 dollars a day .They would pay the week before for the next week with no refunds for late arrival or absence. That is an incredibly long day .Think hard about it,

I wouldn't do it, no amount of money would be worth getting up that early! I love my sleep! I used to be a morning person and liked getting up early, but not so much anymore.
Now, if you are up that early anyways then I might consider it.

I do it already. I charge $100 for two kids that are sibs that just need before school care and come at 5:30.
