So the dcm who is always sharing every aspect of her life with us, finally got herself another job. And a good paying job at that! So her stress level has greatly diminished which means so has ours. I know its been hard on her as a single mom supporting 4 kids but hopefully now, as she settles in and is making more money, we will be seeing less tears and hearing less whining!

If she is truly a drama mama, this only means she will have to find something else to whine about.
A majority of people who are dramatic about stuff are not subject specific.
ANY opportunity to whine is used to their advantage.
I would also refuse to listen.
Being a single mom with 4 kids is not a disability. She should be getting support from the children's father as well as getting time to herself when the kids visit their dad.
Most married women/mothers don't get that. -
I agree she will probably find something else to whine about. She cannot get support from the fathers as they are both in prison. Believe me, I've heard all about that too. Yes, I am guilty of caring too much and being too willing to listen. I am working on correcting that.Comment
