    Tips for 2.5yo

I really could use some tips for this 2.5yo DCG. Even the extremely active/aggressive 2yo boys I have had were a smidge easier.

It feels like 2yo behavior on caffeine pills, or something. It is exhausting and she takes up the energy that 4 preschoolers do, INCLUDING my almost 6yo on a behavior plan!

She is very aggressive for no reason at all.
She will not do what you ask her to do unless you start to walk towards her to "HELP" her do it and then she will run to do it. If you are standing next to her already and you can't do the walk to her then nothing will be done except for the exact opposite of what you want.
She is a very, very loud child randomly screaming at all times.

    Grandma raised her until recently...

TIPS, PLEASE?! I can manage her behaviors but there has to be an easier way because I am so exhausted right now. She is shadowing me a lot lately which ends up being me picking or choosing which child is my shadow (her or the behavior plan child). They cannot BOTH be my shadows as almost 6yo behavior plan child teaches her to misbehave even more.

Ugh, sounds like you have your hands full!

I wish I had advice but I have only dealt with one child like that before and what I did was started having hubby watch him instead of allowing him to be here in care.

Sorry, but the only other thing I would have suggested was shadowing. Maybe she is developmentally ready to do a reward chart?

I have been letting behavior management plan almost 6yo dcb play with the other children, or play in another room that is still in the open concept floor plan but NOT right next to the others, so that she can shadow me more. That worked better but is still not fantastic because as we walk past a kid on the way from places (like the bathroom for monitoring a potty break to the kitchen) she will shove a child who just happens to be near us.

Things haven't changed and today, while shadowing me, she hit two children with heavy blocks. She was happy being completely separated after that.
