18 month dcg started calling me mom 2 weeks ago. It reminds me of Stewie every time and she does it multiple times a day. It's pretty cute until it's annoying. Her mom said this am she's about to pull her hair out because she does it constantly at home. ::

My DS has been doing it for over 6 months...she got it from him.

One mom just heard her LO call me mom and I froze - I was like, "ahh crap" but she just laughed it off and said better me than some random person.

Haha! I have a 12m old that is convinced I am "mama". Wasn't a big deal till DCM asked her on pickup "Where's mama?" and she pointed to me. ::

My DD (22 months) calls my DCMs "mommy". Every morning when my DCG "H" arrives, she starts shouting, "Hi H, Hi Mommy!" when they come in I'm working on teaching Miss K, but it's cute!

My own kiddos do this and it drives me nuts. I threaten to change my name, a lot. ::

I also have a few dck's who call me "mom" right now.
