    Hiking

I took the dcks and my kids hiking today. We were filthy and tired after four hours of climbing, sliding down muddy hills and playing in the creek. I have always been fortunate to have families that expect dirty kids in the spring and summer.

Sounds like my kind of day!

Mine are not ready for that yet, but I look forward to the future.

We love to go hiking but with the 8 inches of rain the last few days, we can't get past the creek on our usual hiking path into our woods... So we have to wait a week or so

Mine went home dirty yesterday. ALL parents said their kids slept great. It was such a good time we got dirty again today...

I like it when they leave dirty. It means we had a great day

I saw this on Facebook and thought it was perfect!

All my families, well almost are all outdoorsy families. I tell everyone this "if your child is dirty when they leave it means we had a great day." I do try to clean them up just so you know. ! But, yes we love dirt.
