Mine love the step 2 extreme roller coaster and we have smaller one too.the big one is huge and kinda fast even adults and teenagers love it definitely worth it and more big kid ish not babyish.just have to watch no one gets in the way kids are very good about not going until everyone moves. Got off craigslist.I also have step 2 slide climber that is really tall maby 5 feet tall.I have tons of those plastic climbers big and small I really like them.

It broke SO MANY times! I have replaced pieces and been in touch with the manufacturers but I am taking it to the dump this week, hope licensing doesn't come before then, I am not letting the kids play with it, but just having it on the premises is probably a problem...but no where to put it until I get my FIL trailer to haul it off.

I really want to order one of these. They look great!

I am just so done with plastic. I think part of it, is I live somewhere that the weather/temperature varies a lot and I think its why the plastic weakened and broke.

Yes I do! We got it this summer because my son had outgrew all our plastic ones. It's been great but the height thing worries me still. My 17 month old can easily climb the latter and could get up in the top. She doesn't realize how high up she is and with the one side open it makes me nervous. I go up with her a lot We did keep some of the smaller plastic playgrounds and set it up so there's a baby/toddler area and a "big kid" area. Worked awesome until my daughter learned she could climb latter's . But I think you can make it work, and is a great investment. Plus a huge selling point to parents, at least it has been for me!
It did take a full weekend (7am-5pm Saturday and Sunday) for my husband and fil (both have experience building things) to complete it though. I think the book said like 8 hours with 2 people. Not so much! Lol.

We bought this one because I didn't want to deal with a wooden set. They always seem to look terrible after a few years, and I didn't want to worry about splinters. (My husband also didn't want to stain and seal them every year!)

I really like it because the glider helps stop some of the arguments over who can swing (enough room for 4 kids!), and the ladder isn't very high up for the toddlers. The slide isn't crazy steep, and the older kids like to challenge themselves on the ladder. Not a lot of interest in the basketball hoop, but I like to tie a balloon (without helium so it's not floating up) onto the hoop and then they get to bounce the balloon all over the place. There is a double-decker fort and they have a lot of fun playing imaginative games. I switch up the themes inside the fort from woodworking shop (bring out the plastic tools) to fairy palace (steamers, etc.) and they love it.
