Well The Phenomenon Hit My House This Morning

Well the phenomenon of "he didn't want to" hit my house today.

Dcd brings dcb in and he is in his pj's. He tells me he has to run out to the truck to get dcb's clothes because dcb "didn't want to get out of his pj's this morning".....dcb is ONLY 1 and can't talk yet!
Then to top it off, I open the bag with the clothes in it and it's the outfit dcb wore yesterday! It has a big food mess on it!

Ironically this is coming from a family who's mom said "I will not have that child. Meaning, her children will be perfect and will listen all the time and blah blah blah.

    HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

LOL! I have had that happen here once. The parent said the clothes were in the bag. They stayed in the bag all day long, too, because I do not dress kids for the day. The child was perfectly fine and safe in his pajamas.

I have actually encouraged this...with a 4 year old. Same drama every morning...didn't want to get up, get dressed. I told her bring him in pj's, and he just can't play until he's dressed. She wouldn't do it.

Now a ONE year old? Seriously?

I have had that happen here also. It's like"what do you mean, he wouldn't let you get him dressed"! Who is the parent here, all you have to do is dress him, the parent is the boss, not the child! How hard is it to dress your child, just do it!
There is no excuse for bringing the same clothes he had on yesterday and dirty to boot! That's just laziness on the parents part.
I tell ya....parents these days......!!!! I have to wonder about their common sense!

Whenever a dck shows up in PJs, I say "Yay! Pajama day! I will change into mine during naptime!" And I do.

This is what I do. One of my previous dcg's came everyday after that in pj's. Meh, it doesn't bother me except when they come in footie pajamas... then they don't have shoes for outside.

I don't really care what they wear as long as it doesn't disrupt our day. My parents know that whatever they're wearing is likely to get dirty.

hmmm. either call parents for a clean change of clothes to be delivered asap cause you are headed outside and need them... or maybe wash them and add a 5 dollar charge to their weekly bill. (wow I'm mean)

I really don't mind if they come in pj's, but don't tell me that "he didn't want to get out of his pj's" and then give me dirty clothes! And then dcd says he's going to get his clothes out of the truck so dcb can play today (I forgot that part). This is not the first time he's come in pj's and they usually don't bring extra clothes.

He is still in his pj's and is doing fine...
