Its not everyday here but almost once a week. This is the first time it has been two days of no eating.

I think the last time she wanted it to be a physical with the doctor so they could talk about more than one issue. Last time I sent him home because he threw up she said she was going to book another appointment but she hasnt mentioned anything.
Continue to out he issue back on mom. Send home every single time. Eventually mom will get tired of oicking up and somehow get him an appointment,

I have no problem putting this back on mom. She works from home so she can always come get him.

They day I wrote this post was the first day he hadn't eaten and she came to get him early and he actually threw up in her car on the ride home so she knowa that it is really happening.

Update: today dcb didnt eat again. He took two bitew of applesauce. I did make him sit at the table with us . He took a nap and then work up and played. He got sick around 2:30. I textes mom to let her know . She is taking him to the doctors. He ate some crackers while waiting for her to pick up.

This is seriously becoming an every week issue.

Does he know that if he gets sick mom will pick him up? Just a thought that maybe he just wants to go home?

            Another update.:
Mom pulled today. She said she can't have him getting sick like this. I am frustrated because I feel like I am being punished for this and now I am just another excuse to this mom. This mom is queen of excuses. If she takes him out of care then he wont be sick and she wont have to take him to the doctors.

I am wondering what will happen when she realizes it is not my house.

He might have an eating disorder. There was one little boy at the daycare who was very particular about not only what he ate but how much he ate. Everyday for lunch he would only have 2 dinosaur chicken nuggets, 3 French fries, and 1/2 a glass of milk (his doctor literally said it was an eating disorder). He had very chubby rosy checks but his body was very thin.

Another little boy I babysat would only eat black beans, lentils, tortillas, vanilla animal crackers, noodles (no sauce), almond milk, and water; basically only bland food with little to no intense flavor. Once in a while I could get him to eat spaghetti with some sauce but very rarely. His parents eventually got him to try pepperoni pizza and dark chocolate. he would cry whenever he had anything too sweet like flavored yogurt. I told his dad to try plain yogurt first but he doesn't want to buy any because he thinks plain yogurt is gross (he used to be a chef and likes flavor ). His dad told me that the doctor said that he thinks the son had a vegetarian pallet (I guess that means that he doesn't like meat).

My brother also has an eating disorder and needs "medicine" to eat. He gave blood with me once and threw up after because he couldn't eat without his medicine (they want you to eat after you give blood) he decided to do it on a whim when he walked with me and didn't plan to give blood.

Its weird that people usually associate eating disorders with females but most of the people I have met with (restrictive) eating disorders are male.

If you haven't already, document and call your licensor to let her know what went on - sticking to the facts. I know you are hurt, but it sounds like this is for the best.

I had a kid who wouldn't eat & would throw up too. Come to find out he did it so his mom would pick him up from daycare. She never told me he did this elsewhere, HE DID! I solved the problem by telling DCB I contacted the agency about his throwing up to go home. They advised me to have him go lay down if he didn't eat & if he threw up, he should stay in bed if he was sick...., not leave. He bought the story & never threw up again! He was a real momma's boy.

I was thinking that this might be the reason yesterday so he stayed with me . He ate lunch normal and his snack then mom said he had been throwing up since he got home.

This doesn't seem to be about you so you shouldn't feel bad. This kiddo needs to see a Dr. to address this. Mom should have made appt. as soon as it started but she seems to be in some kind of denial. Throwing up all the time like this is not normal.

Not only that, but it could have serious health consequences long term like erosion of his tooth enamel, erosions or ulcers in his esophagus, and all kinds of other issues.

If mom is doing a two week notice and brings him, I would document very carefully. I may even be tempted to report her for non medical care if I knew for sure she didn't take him to the doctor.

These types of symptoms could have serious consequences.

Thats the think mom is paying me but keeping him home . Thsts why I feel like it is about me.

She called the doctor Monday when it happened. I wws closed on tuesday and then pulled yesterday. I agree he needs to go to the doctor but she a reason for every issue he has "sister says she can't do things so now he says it" " he could put on his shoes before he went to the last daycare" "doctor says once we get his eczema under control he won't have behavior issues."

Honestly, "calling a doctor" doesn't sound very impressive. I require parents take one of my personal dr forms to be filled out. They actually address the real issues.

I know this isn't an option because she pulled, but it sounds to me like she's the type to let this vomiting thing go on until something really bad happens.
