Do you make them remove necklaces for nap?

I would. Too big of a liability.

I don't allow them in the door.

      TOO much liability.

NOT something appropriate for daycare anyways.

        - Unless otherwise stated, all my posts are personal opinion and worth what you paid for them.

Me too. I don't allow jewelry period. The only exception is earings as long as they are simple studs and the child doesn't mess with them. Everything else is unnecessary. No necklaces, dangly earings, rings or bracelets. The last thing I would want is to have a piece of jewelry break and turn into a choking hazard.

They come off and go in their cubby . Most times anything a child brings ends up in the cubby and is never even asked for .

I don't have any DCKs with these, but what about amber teething necklaces? Just curious what everyone's opinion is. would you tell parents you do not allow them?

                      Yep.

I know parents use and believe in them.

                      I am NOT dissing that.

I just don't and won't use them here.

I will allow small gold keeper hoops. Otherwise no fashion jewellery...studs or keepers, nothing dangly or plastic or anything like that.

No jewelry, and I just realized today that I need to also say no gum. Had a sweet little 3 yo bring a bag of gum to 'share'. Nope!
