If you are looking for realistic ones...I don't have any suggestions.

I have haba wooden ones. I put them out on occasion. They're pretty good quality for the price, but they look too much like balls for the younger kids. They always end up thrown- Flag

I have ordered tons of stuff here:
Buy wooden eggs and apples. These are smooth and ready to finish hardwood Egg Shapes, apples, split eggs and acorns.
It's in Canada, though. I am sure you could find a similar site in the US.
I have eggs, mushrooms, acorns, apples, etc etc. Lovely stuff and the kids love it, too.- Flag

Ooh, I love those toy eggs in the cartons! I may have to look into getting some for my group, too.
After Easter last year, I left out some of those cheap plastic eggs that you put Easter candy in. I have a ton of them from when my own kids were younger. I can't believe how much use they get. They use them in the play kitchen, use them to mix and match colors/designs, play "Angry Birds" with them, etc.... The dc kids love to play with them! I store them in a basket but I do like the store bought ones in the cartons.- Flag
