Holy Wow!

I just had flowers delivered. They were beautiful! From a current daycare mom, the card made me cry. I gave her a ( small $25/week) rate discount. Included was a check for the difference..... For the YEAR!

Single mom, lost child support ( dad hasn't pd in 8+months). Does not qualify for subsidy because of a few dollars. Picks up time, pays on time, spends every spare second with dcg. This was most of her tax return!

That is awesome, and how rewarding. It makes me so glad that she was so grateful for the discount. I feel like so often providers go out of their way, or give up something on their end and it is taken for granted. How wonderful to have someone who is grateful.

Thank you for sharing this with us! Yesterday I gave a young couple a break, it backfired this morning. LAM! Even so, I love to hear about someone giving someone a break and that individual appreciating it!
