Help! Question About Sending Kid Home Sick

Ok just to warn you this post might be a little yucky. Right now I just have a 1.5 year old dcb and my own 2 year old son. Yesterday DCB had 3 really messy diapers which I notified parents of at pickup. When DCD dropped him off this morning he said he didn't think any more poop could come out of him-I assume meaning he had several more messy diapers last night or this morning. DCB just had 2 a diarrhea diapers within 20 mins of each other-much worse than yesterday and very loose. He is otherwise acting completely normal-happy and no fever, ate breakfast fine. Is this enough to have his parents pick him up over? I feel like they must have known it was going on when they dropped him off this morning and still chose to bring him.

I sent 3 kids home yesterday for the same thing. ALL were happy, ate fine and slept fine. Just NASTY diarrhea.

I don't care what else they have going on or not going on. Diarrhea is GO HOME NOW.

All 3 are still out today with it.

I have 2 nurse moms and they said it is NON-stop at the clinic with people either throwing up or having diarrhea.

I'd send home and not allow to return until they have had NO loose poo for a full 24 hours.

yes! germs and bacteria can be transfered through fecal matter. Once one kid gets it, it really spreads. Esp since it happened so close together!

Yep! I send home for diarrhea. If it's just once I tell parents they're on call to get them but if it's more than once you gotta come NOW! One boy I had was pooping pure liquid like 3 times the 30 min it took to come get him. Ugh! A major mess!! And a mess like that is not good in daycare especially with only one provider and multiple kids.
