    Assistant and Xmas Bonus

I have one full time assistant at my home daycare. Just looking for thoughts on Xmas bonuses. What do you do for your assistant? Is it a full week of pay?

I've only had part time assistants, but last year I did about $100 in gifts.

This year I have no clue what to get them, so I would love to hear what everyone else does

If you can afford a full weeks pay, I would do it. But a half weeks is certainly generous as well. A full time assistant that you actually like is hard to find! Dont want to lose them!

I gave both of mine $50 each. It was what I could afford. They were both very thankful

We usually do $100.00 ($50.00 put in from each of us).

It depends on how long they have been with me.

I'm leaning towards a full week. It would be a stretch for me, but worth it, she's awesome! She's the third assistant I've had, and the only one of the three that I've enjoyed working with! She is hardly ever out sick, she does a ton of work when she's here, I never have to speak with her about anything. Well worth it, thanks everyone!

I'm planning on a $100 visa for mine.

Or you could follow the example of so many daycare parents and let her leave at the end of the last day before Christmas without so much as a
"Merry Christmas" or even a "thank you".....

Seriously, I think she would be very happy with a week's bonus if you can afford it. Bless your heart!

I'm doing a $100.00 cash and a bath and body wash set (Caress)

A weeks pay for me would be $150.00 net for her, so the bath set and cash is cheaper on my pockets.
