    Really, though, they would.

Kids get warm running around. 59 is absolutely ideal playing outside weather.
Right? It is -10 F here today. Dress them as needed and go outside and have fun!!

CA or FL cold vs the rest of the country cold is pretty funny. I lived in PA during winter once as a teen and when I came back to CA for winter break it was in the 50's and I was in a tshirt and wished I had brought shorts! Everyone else was bundled up in a parka and freezing!

The 2 kinder kids I have are not being allowed to go out to play at school because it is "too cold". We do have wind where I am at it was only 7mph today it was way bad monday.

So I feel like they should go out and play tomorrow. It is supposed to be a high of 59 with the 5-10 mph wind. The wind makes it feel colder but they need to get the energy but even the schools are keeping them in.

What do you guys think? keep them in or let them play?
Not too bad at all! We've gone out in much worse than that! Just make sure they're dressed warm and go for short intervals.

Russia. How long children have to be outside when it is cold:
            2-3y.o. - 1hr if temperature is -15C (5F) and no wind
0.5 hr if temperature is -12C (10F) and wind is less than 15 feet per sec

            3-4y.o. - 1 hr if temperature is -20C (-4F) and no wind
0.5 hr if temperature is -18C (0F) and wind is 15 feet per sec

            4-5y.o. - 1hr if temperature is -30C (-22F) and no wind
0.5 hr if temperature is -20C (-4F) and wind less than 23 feet per sec ....

The older kids love the play time.
