I tried searing but nothing came up. Im not sure if im using the search function correctly or not.
Here is my issue:
! yr old DCB only naps for about 1 hour then wakes up crying. I'm trying to teach him to comfort himself and not cry for the remainder of nap time. I have gone back in, laid him back down and said nap time isnt over yet and ive stayed out of the room the whole time. I get him up at the end of nap time and wait for him to stop crying real quick before i get him out of the crib). We have been doing this for about two weeks.
Here are my questions:
-is this too much to ask of a one yr old?
-how long would you recommend letting him cry for? (its more of a cry/whine with some babbling. Not hysterical crying. he usually calms down for a little bit then starts back up again)
-Is there something im doing wrong?
- Any other advice?
