So let me just say I LOVE my DCFs!! I do have one that DCD brings every day he's off, from 8-4:30- and he's military sonic he's off during the week it means he's working the weekend. When does he get to see his 9 month old? But they are paying FT so they use the FT- whatever! Anyways, they keep their kids when sick, stick to policies, ect.
Today I agreed to watch an old college friend's son who is a month older than my own 16 month old, so mom could run an errand w/o him being in the way (she's in drama and had to get fitted for a costume) Anyway, at DO she mentioned him being difficult b/c he wouldn't let to of her leg and had to be carried out crying by another person for her last fitting. WELL.... he screamed the whole time whether I was holding him or not, I called and text her to come PU because he couldn't handle it... And she came an hour and a half later apologizing that she didn't get the messages until here. I am so upset- so you brought him here to make your life easier and mine harder? This was not someone I expected it from either or I wouldn't have offered! So we could not go outside, could it do anything but sit and hold him til she got here! Ugh... Just had to vent! It was the longest hour and a half ever

I offered to keep a friens little girl while she went out one night. I felt sorry for her cause she was a single mom and I was just having a relaxing evening at home with my kids. I didnt think a thing about it because I had been around this child a lot and her and my kids liked to play. Well everything was okay til bedtime (9pm). She proceeded to wail for her mom...I called her, left her about ten vm. Little girl finally fell asleep about midnight and woke up every hour crying for her mom. I was pissed. Could not reach mom til she finally called me at 2:30 am...drunk. I just had her leave her all night. NEVER AGAIN!
