Think I had my first interview with someone

starting up a daycare. This lady was at my house for almost two hours. I did not think she wanted to leave. I let her come during daycare hours because I had my mom there to help plus it was during nap time and I thought it would be quick.

It didn't cross my mind until later on in the evening that she was probably trying to open up her own home daycare she said if she wasn't a CPA she would so do daycare. She did not bring her children 21months and 2 months I just figured because it was raining she did not want the infant out in the weather. She was really nice, but I would be surprised if I hear back from her. She even told one of my other dcp that she would be starting with me but too many inconsistencies. At first she had a babysitter now she has a nanny, she wanted both girls to start with me now not sure she will keep the nanny for the 2 month old. Can her older daughter come two days a week at first it was the whole week for both.

Have any of you ever had the feeling that the person you are interviewing just wants to check out your place to help them with their daycare?

I take the kids to the park she wanted me to walk her to the park and show her where it was, she also asked me if when I first started doing daycare did I visit other daycare homes, I replied no I did not want to waste their time.
