I too had a hard time hearing her.
What I did get out of the video though was she was sadden by the fact that children now days aren't allowed to have the freedom to really and deeply explore the world around them.
There are no joyful, laughing children sounds anymore because children are having to sit down and learn, be on their computers or electronic devices etc so in an essence, she is saying that not being able to be a child and explore the world/environment in wonder and awe, we are holding back our children with forced academics in early childhood.
That's my 2 cents.

That is exactly what she's saying, in a nut shell.
I spent the day at a Waldorf kindergarten yesterday. It was a very cool experience. I will share details once I get time to write them all down.Comment
