Do you all have a wishlist you share with dcps and what kinds of things are on it? Do they respond nicely and actually help to fulfill some of your wishes?
Just curious, thanks for any replies!
No I do not cause the parents I work for already donate books, mulch for playground, stickers, toys etc.
But I do have a wishlist I make up with the kids (for me) twice a year so we decide together what toys/ material to look for

Yes I have a wish list and occasionally my parents do bring in stuff when they can afford to. Both of my families are struggling financially but when they can afford a small something like Kleenex etc they bring it.
I have a wishlist on my website of toys/equipment, one of supplies we could use and a list of books that we have and want but I ask for and am appreciative of any donations they want to make.
My clients regularly donate used clothing, books and other children's items and I am thankful. I use what I can but if I can't use it then I box them up and store them in my garage. Once a year there's a Children's Swap Meet at a park near my home and I take all of the donations and sell them, then I use the money I've made to buy what I need. This works awesome when I get electronic toys like Fisher Price etc because I don't use those buy they have a good resell turnaround. I also love getting strollers, swings, pack n plays etc because I can get a good amount for them. Even clothes sells great and I sell them at .50 a piece which is half of what the other booths and garage sales sell them for. I get everything for free and make about $200-$400 every year!! happyface
So even though I have wishlists that my clients can buy items to donate they know that I'll take anything they want to give me .
