    All of Em...

All 10 of my dcks are sick with colds. I have been wiping snot all day long for the past 3 days. I hope everyone else kids are in good health. I don't know how much longer I can take of the snot wiping, coughing/sneezing in my face.

I just wanna close down for the rest of the week and disinfect the entire house from top to bottom.

It must be going around! Every single one of my kids has or has had a cold, in the last two weeks and one had strep. The snot is winding down, but geez!

Send em home & don't let them back until they are 24 hours free of symptoms!!

I have a dcg who started full time this week, was kept home Monday for cold like symptoms. She went to the dr and mom said symptoms were mild so I allowed her yesterday (if I denied every mini cold I wouldn't have a business). Of course she sounds like a toad all day and at nap time started coughing horribly and then start puking everywhere. She was sent home and will not be back until she is symptom free. I don't care if its her first week or not.

Well the good thing about all of them being sick at one time is they are all sick at the same time.

Otherwise, you could just have one at a time and drag the whole cold/snot thing out over the next few weeks.

Ikwum on that. One of my dcks has been out since last Thursday and he came back today and seems to be doing better with the exception of the runny nose.

I couldn't afford to do that, I wouldn't get paid

Same here. All of the kids caught one dcg's "allergies" just in time for vacation. Now that we are back, dcg has another cold...round 2 is just beginning for the next cold!

Yep, "allergies" are common around here.
