I'm in Mississippi. The bad thing is that the cost of living here isn't cheap either!! By that's what we get for the welfare state. We have to spread it around so everyone that don't work can get it, so even those that are working hard like my dcp only get $40 a week per child and that's even for infants!!
But we can charge parents the overage here though.
And centers get a lot more than in home providers.
Right now I'm at my five max and all five are state pay from two different families.- Flag

If I couldn't, I wouldn't take state pay at all. No way can I afford to watch a child for $8 a day. Not happening. The only good part is that all of my five extra are afternoon. So they come here and then at 830 after bedtime routines, they go to bedI stay up but I normally would anyway. They leave by midnight
