    Tough Decisions

I'm considering taking it easy next school year. By that I mean my youngest child is home for her final year before full time kindergarten. She will be at pre k MWF, so I might cut my daycare hours down to MWF 8-4. I have two working families that will likely leave. Well, pretty much guaranteed!
One family is already considering going PT or leaving, so may be ok but the other family is a family friend . I'm wondering how much notice to give this family in order to make it fair, from a family friend standpoint, to give them enough time to actually find new care for fall, BUT without them leaving before the end of the summer.... yep, that's a tough one They've been good, BTW.

How much notice do you require from the parents? If it's 2 weeks, give them 2 weeks. If it's 4 weeks, give them 4 weeks.

My policies state 2 weeks but since they're friends I'd give them a month.
