Blow dryer and LOTS of papertowels.

Melt the crayon with the blow dryer and then wipe off from surfaces.

Your clothing is going to be a different story. MUCH harder to remove and you will probably still have staining. You can try putting a paper towel over the crayon on your clothes and ironing them. The crayon should melt and hopefully stick to the paper towel. You'll have to try it a few times though. Very annoying.

A friend of mine did recommend something called Totally Awesome but I never tried it. Apparently it comes in a semi-transparent spray bottle or in 1 gallon containers. The liquid is yellow I think. She said she misses crayons in her DD's pockets once and washed and then dried them so she got melted crayon on a bunch of clothes. She rewashed the load with this stuff and on the hottest and longest cycle and that all of the crayon came out. I don't even know where she bought this stuff at though. I use a product sometimes called Awesome but it's a white container with maroon lettering so I'm not sure if it's the same thing or not. Sorry I can't be more help.

I actually wouldn't melt it off the floor or freezer. I would let it dry and harden, scrape it up, & then vacuum. Your clothes are whole other story...I hope it wasn't a favorite outfit!

              Did you take a picture???
Not that I would find a thing like that amusing this afternoon. Good luck cleaning it up! The worst I ever had was a dropped bottle of vegetable oil... everywhere.

You might try Fels-Naptha soap on your clothes. I've not tried it specifically on crayon but it works wonders on a lot of different things. It's a bar soap, but you just wet the stain rub the soap in and let it sit for a bit then launder. It can be hard to find but I got some at Walmart a while back.

I'd try using ice packs to freeze it and then scrape it off. Then I'd use a mr. clean magic eraser for the remnants. I'd toss the clothes in the garbage.....you risk it melting into your washer and dryer if you put in the laundry.

I use those too!! They get out all kinds of stains on everything!! I just hold the bar and dampen the clothes and rub the dry bar in the stain.

I also use fels naphtha to make home made laundry detergent. Boy it gets the clothes clean!!

My daughter forgot and put a towel with bikini wax on it in the washer & dryer once. The very next load of laundry was cloth diapers. Needless to say, I had to buy some new diapers

This! When very cold, it should just break up and off and you should be able to sweep it up.

I would throw away the clothing. Cheaper than ruining your washer and dryer. And it's a good excuse to go shopping!
