    The way I understood it this would be in addition to her regular time/payment so she wouldn't be "losing" money. If I'm correct then yes I would offer this to any of my parents in the same position.

      If you and the dad can't agree upon a rate, he should qualify for extended duty care through a licensed FCC provider as long as he's working during those nights. This is something that he would not have to pay for.

        Thank you ladies. The daycares on base are all full with a waiting list so long they are not accepting anymore people on it. He wants to keep them in the same place. He has no problem with whatever rate I come up with, I just didn't want to charge too much.

          I started daycare on an Air Force base many years ago. Parents who ran the chance of being deployed or not able to just leave their job like civilians can.....all had to give me a complete power of attorney just in case I was not able to get a hold of them in an emergency. You might want to look into that.
