Can Anyone Share Their Daycare "Centers" Pics?

I am wondering if anyone can share clip art of their center names and what they use for pictures? I have zero creativity right now or ideas.

For instance, I'd like to make pics that say -"circle time", "computer center", "reading center","dramatic play"..etc....etc.... I also need picture labels for my bins.

Where can I look for clip art of these?? Anyone have ideas or can share some they have?

    Thank you!!!happyface

When I've done these in the past, I used photos of the kids in action in that area.

I take pictures of each area, print them out, and use those.

This is what I do too, I like using real photos with real images of MY stuff so I've started converting everything over to real images. I'm actually just re-doing my center labels so they aren't up yet but since I do the same thing with my toy labels I'll show you those as an example. I use the same exact template for my "center" labels.

I like eye-candy so when I make my labels I add a border and text. I use photoshop but I'm pretty sure that anyone could use the paint program instead, I've just never done it that way since I've never had the need to. I design my labels as a 4x6 (regular photo print size) and develop them like you would a regular photo. The labels are on thicker paper that way and since I don't have a color printer it's cheaper printing them that way than paying $.40 or so for a full sheet (two prints fit on one sheet) at a copy place. It also saves my cutting time. Then I run them over to Lakeshore to laminate them.

Once they've been laminated then I tape them to the "centers" with heavy-duty packing tape.

My schedule chart is pretty much the same thing except that for those I do use clipart and when I get around to taking photos of our routines I'll go ahead and change those to real photos too. I got the idea for my center labels from the TpT website. They have a cool free download called Schedule Cards {The First Grade Parade} that is supposed to be used to make a schedule but it has so many cards in it that list specific centers (math, writing dramatic play etc.) that you can probably use those already made ones if you want something fast, cute and pre-made. You just have to print them out and cut them ... probably laminate them too so that they last longer. HTH.

I have some cute ones in pdf format that I got from a long-ago Mailbox teaching magazine. I'd be happy to email them to you if you want to Private Message me!

This site has some really awesome printable labels and name tags in their label making section! (You do have to sign up for the site, but it's free so..)

Personally, I think it rocks and use these labels on everything. I even print some of the tags out on sticky paper and stick them to all my books and other items that are loaned out.

I also use this site for custom calendars and job/chore charts.
