I would be absolutely livid about him showing up 2 hours late. I would charge a late fee without it in my policy....that or they could find a new child care provider if they refused to pay for your time. They wouldn't work overtime for free, why should you?
That being said....it is in my contract that it is $10 for every 15 minutes OR fraction thereof, that they are late. That means if they are even one minute late I COULD charge them $15. I wouldn't do that, but if they were 16 or 17 minutes late, you bet I would charge them $30. I have only had to do it once in 16 years....because parents KNOW I am serious about my policies and they respect that.
Treat yourself better, and like the professional that you are. And get PAID for your time!!!!
