$500 gift card to lakeshore, I didn't wait I went to the store the next day and went shopping!

If you have facebook you could go to lakeshore learning page and I posted 2 pictures of what I bought with the money, I loaded my cart, I had 6 coupon codes they let me use, and I brought it all up to the front with no clue where I was at, I was trying to figure it out, but it was hard with the coupons and all, well after she rang it all up it came to $501.33..........man I couldn't believe it!
The kids have been having a great time, I let them all go wild and just play with it all the first day, then I had to try to find a place to put everything, thats been a challenge. But I'm not complaining about that!

The Mississippi State University Extension Program sponsors the Nuturing Homes Initiative who sponsors me and twice a month my awesome sent from Heaven NHI lady brings out a car trunk load FULL of stuff from Lakeshore Learning. It's all from a grant. Literally a trunk full. My kids all get so excited when I tell them she's coming because its like Christmas twice a month.

The entire program provides $15K worth of material to each of 15 providers chosen in the state. It's a 10 month program. The point of it is to help small in home providers with learning materials to make us better and help us with these things we'd never be able to afford otherwise.

I am so honored to be a part of this program because it really is so helpful to me and the kids. I can't afford ONE item from lakeshore, much less two trunk loads a month.

While I don't get to PICK any of the items I receive, I'm just as grateful.

I wish Lakeshore was more affordable because they offer some amazing things.
