Just thought I would post some recommendations because I know several people have asked about infant toys recently. Feel free to add some of your own links!
Rings LOTS of choices for rings
Links again, lots of choices for similar items!
Stacking and nesting items
Textured balls
balls that are flexible and easy to grab
Chunky cars
Battery operated items (I try to keep to a minimum but here's a few favorites)
you can take the table top off this and set it on the floor
anything with a mirror although I just permanently attached a full length mirror in our playroom
another idea: toy cell phones or keys. you can get ones that are not battery operated items!
this classic one is a hit
egg shaped toys (one of my daughters favorite items for a year!)
little people (sometimes have small pieces but most of the sets are okay for babies!)
I have two of the buses, an airplane, and numerous other vehicles and always buy more at yard sales. never met a baby or toddler that didnt love this.
