What To Do About a Colicky 5 Month Old

Man, other than the obvious, terminate, not really sure what to do! He cries ALL DAY LONG! He has moments where he is ok, but for the most part, cries all day. And doesn't sleep but a total of about a half hour! I hate to term him because the family is great, but wow! I just don't now how much more my nerves can take! Ugh! Any BTDT advice?

Our son had colic. I know what you are going through. One thing that helped him was playing a recording of the washing machine. For some reason that helped.

Here are some more posts on colic: https://www.daycare.com/forum/tags.php?tag=colic

White noise can be very helpful to help with sleep, as well as swaddling (assuming it's okay with baby's parents). I had a little one once who had this sort of sheepskin thing that had a very soothing vibration thing in it that was a big help, but unfortunately with all the concerns with SIDS I don't think I'd use it now (it was thick).
