    OMG! lol

I'm sitting here typing, and since my own school-agers have friends over, didn't think much of the footsteps I heard from the stairway by my son's room.

Around the corner comes my 20 mo dcb, who looks at me, waves, and says "hi" with a big smile.

Um...he WAS in his crib sleeping in my family room (down the carpeted steps no less). Apparently, he now knows how to climb out!

    OH...CRAP!

Guess it's time for a cot! I would've jumped! Anything coming around the corner scares the daylights out of me.

We are going to try a sleep sack today. There is no way this little man is ready for a mat.

IF I had a room that I could keep him with me in, I'd entertain it, but my house is just not laid out that way. It's bedrooms for everyone, or the family room downstairs. My livingroom/dining/kitchen combo is open concept, and really bright (open concept log home with loft).

We shall see. I think I'll pile blankets around the open side of the pnp though!
