    Those Who DON'T Do Graduations/Ceremonies

Does anyone else do a preschool program WITHOUT any kind of graduation at the end of the year and/or ceremony that the parents can watch?

I keep seeing pictures on Facebook and just imagine mad chaos since only a few of the children would be graduating and the rest would just ... be.
Perhaps a picture of their child in a graduation gown with a diploma to send home would be better? For the record, this wouldn't be until the end of summer right before entering Kinder.

I don't. We do a little party here with the kids only on the last day or near the last day of summer.

We take all ages, but have an infant toddler class/group and a preschool class. I am in charge of the preschool class, and don't do anything when they "graduate".

Totally get the chaos side you mentioned, plus this year I have 3 kids graduating, and all 3 of them are leaving at different times. 2 had their last days on different weeks in May and one will have hers in August. So I wouldn't even know when to do it ?!?

I really did have intentions of doing something for them, but it just didn't come together. They have been with us since 6, 10, and 18 months - so it felt like it needed to be commemorated - but with the a he duke of final days etc - there was never a time that felt right ?!?

I have 3 ageing out this year. I'm not doing a graduation but we are going to build a bear for a "party". I've done yearbooks in the past but I lost my camera a month ago and of course I hadn't up loaded the pictures from it.

I do a little graduation ceremony because I always have 3-4 moving on to Kindy, but a provider friend of mine just has a cap and gown in her daycare color and takes a photo for the parents along with a certificate. I think that is a great idea!

I don't do a graduation because while I offer preschool activities, I am not a licensed preschool. We do have a "going away" party for friends who are leaving.

I actually transport to the traditional preschool down the street and they do a big, evening graduation ceremony.
