So i was looking at daycare centers on the computer the other day when i came across some reviews for a specific daycare(dont know if i can say the name here so i won't). Parents were leaving reveiws most were bad and serious stuff. Apparently this daycare center hires people to go on this website and tell parents that they are liars and it never happened. I couldn't believe some of comments i read on there. I just can' believe i daycare center would go that low.

There could be another side to this. Often if a parent is terminated ( often for non payment) they will go on sites like that and make up a big story. The same way they will call licensing and make up a story.
Who knows if what the parents or supposed parents said was true or not.AND the replying people could be parents of children in the program or friends of the provider. It does not mean they were paid to write a review.
This is a very common thing to happen. People lie on the internet all the time.It:

Not sure how staff complaining on the site about the director's constitutes as the daycare center as being the bad guy here. :confused:
Sounds to me like this center has some pretty disgrunted workers and parents.
Is this a center you worked at or are affiliated with at all?
Any time there is a open site that allows anyone to post a complaint or comment, there is going to be a whole bunch of drama and unnecessary and unrelated content as well.
Personally, I wouldn't put too much effort into caring what goes on between a center and it's staff and/or clients if I wasn't directly involved with them in some way.Comment

I've seen other businesses that do this, were they have negative comments but then the comments/response from the owners is equally negative towards the poster. I think it's unprofessional to attack back. Online review sites are notorious for having more negative than positive comments because people have anonymity and don't have to be accountable.

I always try to take employee complaints with a grain of salt. I worked at center once that was very well run by our director but I will admit she was a bit of a hard a$$. She didn't sugar coat things and was very direct. The problem that happened with her was that she took over after a director that did NOTHING, literally nothing. When she took over many of the staff hated her because they actually had to do more than sit on their laurels chatting or texting while the kids ran amok. There were a few staff that took to online review sites about her but in reality they were upset because the free ride from the previous director was over.Comment

I had to let a parent go and they went online and found all of my advertisements and gave me bad feedback under different names. All of which are lies, I'm licensed and everything she posted would cause me to lose my license if they were true. She's even contact licensing several times complaining about me giving different names as well. I have cameras around my house so whenever licensing comes she just reviews the cameras. But it ****s cause I know people have seen them cause there have been times when I will get a call for someone looking for daycare and they mention the review they saw. I've tried to contact the companies to have the reviews removed but there isn't really much I can do about them. Luckily she speak with horrible english (ebonics) so hopefully people take that into consideration when they read them!Comment
