    Favorite Equipment

I think I have seen posts regarding this in the past, but I am getting ready to spend grant money (woohoo) and need some ideas on things to buy. I want it to be something really nice that the kids WILL enjoy. OR something that I will enjoy! haha

Any ideas???? What would you do with $800????

I would give a LOT for a dome climber in the backyard, a reading loft, and/or some of the big foam-filled vinyl-covered climby things for babies.

      And an unbreakable wall mirror.
Hee hee! Look, I have a signature!

Reading loft!!!! I love nangirl's! (I think that's her name). A wall mirror and those foam things are awesome!

I second (3rd?) the dome climber, loft and soft foam climbers!

general toys- BLOCKS, I can't have enough. How is your dramatic play? kitchen set? dress up? puppet theater? baby dolls?

If/when I have more money to invest, I am going with a pre-k size monkey bars, and some vinyl foam prek size furniture for our reading nook! I also want to expand our science center. The kids love love love the life cycles, small human anatomy models, that sort of thing.

I would definitely get a reading loft and a few of those plexiglass easels for kids to use outside.

Outdoor climbers/structures are a favorite of my kids, they could play for hours on them (and have! : I got both mine off craigslist for super cheap deals but I looked for months, if I had the $$ I would have paid retail.

Blocks, dress up, kitchen/kitchen toys are always a hit with my group.

Also our area gets a lot of rain so my greatest investment was a canopy for the outdoor play area, so even when it rains there are at least some climbers/outside toys are still accessible

Do you have a pic or link to see your canopy. We get so much sun in aour yard as well. That may be a good investment!
                    Thank
