    Need Brochure Ideas

I am trying to create a brochure for my child care center to "sell" prospective clients on the idea of enrolling their child. Serving children from 8 weeks through kindergarten. With sections for Infant/Toddlers, Preschool (3s/4s) and Kindergarten students. I need some ideas on how to address areas of learning and stages of development. Any help would be great.

I made a brochure one time for my daycare when I was taking CDA classes. I will look & see if I can find it around here somewhere... I used Microsoft Publisher to create it, and it was pretty easy, just a drag-and-drop type of thing. It had the guidelines & I just filled it in with my own info & pictures.

Here are a few things I learned in a class I took- it might help you think of some "selling" points for your potential clients.
Feel free to use anything you like

      Six opportunities for learning:
      1.) Physical (nutrition, hygiene)
2.) Emotional (building relationships, adapting to others, self esteem, self control)
3.) Social (making friends, understanding rules, using manners)
4.) Motor/Muscle (fine motor skills- writing, hand/eye coordination...large muscle- climbing, running, playing)
5.) Language (conversation, reading books, verbal skills)
6.) Cognitive (memory, problem solving, thinking skills)

      Hope this helps!

Thank you. Working on my own brochure for my class too.

Create a brochure for a child care center to "sell" prospective clients on the idea of enrolling their child in a center that specializes in Developmentally Appropriate Practice. The center serves children from 8 weeks through kindergarten. Be sure that your prospective clients know what concepts characterize developmentally appropriate practice. Create sections for Infant/Toddlers, Preschool (3s/4s) and Kindergarten students. Include information on how your center addresses the domains of learning, developmental stages, and practices along with any other information you consider pertinent for them to have.

        Any helpful tips appreciated
