    Need Help With Wording

I have two new families starting, and need to get them their contracts. One is a teacher's kiddo and will be off for the summer, the other is a landscaper and is off for the winter.

I am not charging them for this time off, but they need to leave a deposit to keep their spot.

How can I word this in my contract? Some help please?

"During any work related absences, families are not billed for their space but are asked to pay a deposit to retain their space for when work resumes."

    Does that help?

I suppose you could add details such as the amount of deposit or length of extended absence you will allow but since that part is generally personalized according to a family's individual situation, you can add that part or just make a separate sheet outlining exactly how long they will be off and what their deposit will be.

I have a section in my contract about deposits and stuff.
      Maybe something like this:
A deposit of $______ is required to hold your child's spot during there absence. Payment is due in advance.

      Payment agreement:
I ____________________ (parents name) agree to pay $________ to hold your childs spot.
      _______________________ _______
      parent signature date

      Good luck!

Perhaps add the conditions under which the deposit is/isn't refundable or is applied to future care
